How to work through P6 Mathematics papers

Start with the most recent paper you have not attempted. Do the paper in a single sitting under quiet conditions, timing yourself as instructed by your teacher or school. After scoring, mark every mistake—do not just note the correct answer. For each error, ask: was the mistake from misreading, a missing step, a wrong operation, or not knowing the concept? Write the type beside each wrong question. Then redo only the questions you missed, without looking at the worked solution. If you still cannot solve it, check the worked solution and try a similar question from another paper the same week. Parents should look at which concept areas keep producing errors—such as fractions, geometry or heuristics—and arrange extra practice on that topic before moving to the next paper.
