Go! Chinese Textbook (2E) Level 8

Go! Chinese is a fully integrated Chinese language program, specially designed for learners of Chinese as a foreign language. Comprising of 8 levels, this book helps students develop language skills across the three modes of communication (interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational).

This series is categorised into 2 learning capabilities:

• Beginner (Levels 1-4) for elementary school students (ages 6 - 12) with little or no background in Chinese
• Intermediate (Levels 5-8) for middle school students (ages 12 - 18) and places more emphasis on cultural comparison, self-expression, and opinion exchange

Go! Chinese Textbook 8 offers 10 lessons focusing on topics relevant to the everyday life with emphasis on listening and speaking.  Each lesson introduces basic vocabulary and simple sentence structures with emphasis on listening and speaking. Activities such as role play, interviews, games, pair work, and language exchanges are incorporated to allow students to communicate in meaningful contexts.
